Our History
The journey of Sahodaya School Complex, West Bengal Chapter has been one of growth and progress, evolution and distinction. Way back in 1994, SSCWB Chapter embarked on its journey with only 04 schools, namely, DAV Model School, Durgapur, Burnpur Riverside School, Burnpur, Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Durgapur and Gyan Bharati School, Raniganj. The initial years had been one of great struggle that required courage and resilience. Yet the complex had always kept steady and firm on its mission and objectives. And over the years, SSCWB Chapter has evolved into a dynamic cluster of schools guided by the CBSE Sahodaya School Complex essence and spirit and its conviction to create a domain of excellence for all stakeholders of the complex. Today SSC, WB Chapter is a robust organization comprising 49 member schools from the districts of Paschim Bardhaman, Purulia, Birbhum and Murshidabad and the process of expansion is still continuing.
